A couple of updates for you this evening:
(1) Many of you have been asking about the job search, and we're happy to report that it is going very well! No job, yet, but Jake has had quite a few promising interviews and is now talking seriously with a couple of places here in Knoxville. We are hopeful that we will hear something more concrete (like an offer!) here in the next week or two. We'll keep you posted!
(2) Max's new swimming class went for four days last week and will be doing the same this week. Whew! It's worth it, though, because Max is now super psyched about swimming!!! When his teacher told him he thought he was good enough to go swim with the "big kids" Max jumped right in and went for it and he has not looked back (or up) since! Check out these videos of him swimming underwater and jumping in and then swimming to the side. I'm so proud!

Thanks for the updates, especially the chance to watch that boy swim. He is doing great. Little Cate is doing fine too. She really has to work hard to be both stubborn and a diva. My daughters did that too except that it took two of them.
