In addition to reading like a whiz kid, Max is also starting to do some writing. Granted, his spelling could use some work (though it's not far behind mine). Still, it is amazing to me to watch him develop all these new skills so quickly, and I am loving the sweet notes I get from him. Today, I took Cate on a long walk. We played with some friends of hers until dark, and when I got back, I was greeted with this:
