Well the Lady Leopards kicked off their 2011 season this morning with a HUGE win! Actually, there is no "official" score-keeping in Upward soccer. As you may remember from Max's Upward days, "Every Child is a Winner!" That said, we just happen to have some incredible little soccer players on our team, which made this game a super fun one to watch! A lot of these girls have played before, so I guess that explains why they play like seasoned pros?? Anyway, this being Cate's first game, she just kind of followed the herd. She kept up pretty well & really got into the spirit of the whole thing. Coach Rob gave her the star for good sportsmanship :)

She is so cute on the field! Go Lady Leopards! My friend Melanie's little girl Sarah is on Cate's team. They have an older daughter Emma that Emma-Caroline played soccer with last year.

Amy, little Sara is one of the "pros" I was referring to. She's a sweet pea, too! Wish Sophie was playing with them this year, but it sounds like she is pretty booked ;)
