We have had some serious tooth-pulling efforts around here lately, accompanied by some major league DRAMA! Max lost his first bottom tooth back in January, and we expected the second to follow soon after. Well, it didn't. It's been just kind of hangin' out there - hangin' loose, I should say (Oh geez! That joke could rival my mom's and sister's in the corny joke contest ... my apologies!) Anyway, last week I realized that the adult tooth that was supposed to take this tooth's place has already come through and is pointing straight backward (weird!). Since then, we have been on a mission to get this tooth out. We tried wiggling it, tying it to a string and pulling, pushing on it with ice, biting into pizza .... nothing. I was all set to make an emergency dental appointment for tomorrow, when out it popped! Right into Max's hand while he was brushing his teeth. Whew!

Max pressing on the loose tooth with ice (This did the trick last time, so he was hoping it would work again. No luck.)
Victory!

No apologies necessary! You didn't rival me too badly!
Glad you are passing the cheesy-genes on to your kids ;)
