O.k. Not really. Not unless 'dabbling' means 'bathing' (which, come to find out, it actually kind of does :) Here are some pictures from Cates first experience with paints:

Creative genius at work
As with most things around here, this whole painting experience was not part of the original plan. The plan was for Max to make a sign for the popsicle stand that he has been talking about all winter and that (we hope!) will soon come to be. I'm off to gather materials for it tomorrow afternoon. If I can get my hands on one of those little popsicle molds, we'll be in business!
