We had a super fun visit with Aunt Megan a few weeks back! Aunt Megan is, of course, now all Hollywood and what not, but I schooled her in the life of a Knoxville Mom (just in case she ever needs to play one on T.V. ;D) We carted Max back and forth to basketball camp and guitar, Cate back and forth to dance class, both kids to the pool and the movies. We shuffled the kids off to different friends, and took them downtown for some fun in the fountains at Market Square, It really was a bizarrely busy week as far as kid stuff goes, but it was great to have Mego as my sidekick and the kids loved showing her all their activities, so I call it success (with the possible exception that we may have spoiled Megan on the idea of kids forever???) Thankfully, Megan and I did still manage to have plenty of good sister time watching Bridesmaids, eating sushi, and staying up late for hot chocolate and chit chat (yay!). Thanks for coming, Megan! We miss you!!!!

All of the rest of these were taken at the First Friday festivities at Market Square. Such a fun night!
Once the fountains were turned off, we headed over to the drum circle so Cate and Ivy could get their hippie on. (Ivy has told everyone that she wants to be a hippie when she grows up, so her mama tries to support this dream ;) I've never been to the drum circle before, but I can't wait to go again! Cate was completely in here element there. She just went straight to the middle of the circle with Ivy and danced like crazy for over an hour! She was something else to watch & the hippies LOVED her!
Megan and Max are big texting buddies! When we first got to the drum circle, they both just sat down on the bench and whipped out their phones (o.k. Max has mine, but if you ask him, it's "shared").
They both got into it later, though :)
