O.k. the past week kind of got away from me and I haven't had time to sit down and write anything in a while. Just because I've fallen off the blog wagon (blagon?), though, doesn't mean the camera has taken a break! Here are some pictures from this fun (and busy) week:
On Friday, Grampa and Grandma stopped through on their way back to Texas. (For those of you who haven't heard, Grampa is now sporting a leg brace and a wheelchair after falling off the boat a couple of weeks ago.) They hung out with Mr. Max on Friday night while Jake and I went to the neighborhood progressive dinner. Then, on Saturday, we all went to lunch at the Mellow Mushroom. Not as mellow as one might expect, but we all had a good time!

As Max will tell you, he has special baking powers that make everything he cooks extra delicious! Among his other favorite things to bake are rice crispy treats, brownies, and muffins.

Monday we had some SNOW! None of it stuck, of course, so we'll have to keep waiting to realize Max's dreams of building a snowman and making a snow angel. At least he got to catch some flakes on his tongue and try out his awesome new Hotwheels snow boots! (he's been wearing these nonstop for the past week :)
